My contract with Katevara ended at the end of September. My main work is now my own company Ordinatim OÜ, and I am open to new things to do. Currently in progress:

• Ordinatim OÜ — I am developing a working environment that can be used and managed with AI tools. Together with Juho Kalberg (Jubejuss) the first larger analysis is nearly finished.
• Taksigo — I am thinking along with Allan Joasoo on his idea of a taxi app and a transport auction.
• KV Stuudio — I help Villu Veski set his choices into a longer-term plan.
• Suveniiritehas — I help Toomas Kalmet with computer work.
• Käsmu Maritime Museum — I help Aarne Vaik and Triin Saks.

  My own company, formerly called Utiroof OÜ. Its motto is “First order, then the machine.”

  I am developing a working environment that can be used and managed with different AI tools. It is based on standards, a card index, logs and registers. The aim is to translate the working language of people from unfamiliar fields into something I can understand. Together with my fellow thinker Juho Kalberg (artist name Jubejuss) we are reaching our first result: a larger analysis for one tool is nearly finished.

  Teet Enok’s companies in Ida-Viru County: flat roofs and facades, and custom sheet-metal products.

  My task was to turn a company that lived in one man’s head into a working organisation: structure, contracts, IT and options for the owner based on a longer view. In recent years Recycling by Katevara was added, a line of work dealing with technologies for reusing waste from flat-roof renovation. We presented it at the IFAT fair in 2026. I got to know Teet through IT Rotid.

  Allan Joasoo’s idea of a taxi app and a transport auction.

  In September 2026 Allan asked me to think along with his ideas. I help to put the idea into words: I made an overview of Estonian taxi apps (Bolt, Uber, Forus) and compared their features. The work is at an early stage.

  The company grew out of the live broadcasts of Viru Folk. The founders were Kaido Einama, Ivo Kivinurk, Urmas Talivee, Peep Veedla and me.

  We made live broadcasts of cultural events (Viru Folk, Juu Jääb) and advised Looduskalender on webcams. I mainly built Drupal-based websites and newsletters, mostly for cultural projects.

  I developed the mailing list and the website. Birdsong mornings together with the Tallinn Environment Department were my idea. In 2008 I brought Rein Maran and Loodusring together, and a free nature film course was born in which more than 100 young people took part.

  Jaan Riis’s publishing house. Its brands were Looduse Omnibuss, the nature evenings at the National Library, Nature Photo of the Year and the magazine Loodus.

  There were mostly two of us in the office. The biggest challenge was to move sales and advertising to the internet, the website and the newsletter, although the target group were pensioners who did not use e-mail.

  A new brand created by the new owners of Noor Turist. The managing director was Marko Toomik.

  I came up with the Estonian tourism catalogue and made it happen. For the first time I worked in essence as a development manager.

  A private museum in Käsmu founded by Aarne Vaik, operating since 1993 in a tsarist-era border guard building. The board member and managing director is Triin Saks.

  I helped Aarne find a place for the museum in the tourism landscape and make it interactive and international. Later I also helped with administrative worries. I still help Aarne and Triin today.

  School class excursions, first to St Petersburg, later for Estonian primary school classes.

  In high season more than ten buses went out each day. I was responsible for the methodology and we developed museum education in Estonia. I realised that I would never be a businessman, because profit did not matter to me. I sold the company and stayed on as a project manager for a while.

  The entrance exams for applied mathematics went easily and in the dormitory I got to know many people in the field, but I made it to lectures only a couple of times. At twenty it seemed to me that I was smarter than the whole university put together.

  Started work on 1 September 1987, later Rakvere Adult Upper Secondary School, which closed in 2020.

  After leaving Rakvere Secondary School No. 1, I went with my friend Vambola Jürgenson to Russia, following Baturin’s book “Heart of the Bear”, to look for the Evenks on the Lower Tunguska river, but we did not find them. When I came back, my family insisted that I finish secondary school. I received my diploma in 1990.

  Now Rakvere Vabaduse School, without the upper secondary level.

  An educational experiment was carried out with our year: mathematics was taught by Aleksander Levin, a lecturer at the Tallinn Polytechnic Institute, one day a week we were at the computing centre and we had our own curriculum. When Levin left the school in the 12th grade for health reasons, my school days there soon ended too. I still thank Levin for teaching me logical thinking.
