Aleksei Turovski 80

On 4 August my good friend Aleksei Turovski turned 80. There was reason to run through my mind the many times our paths have crossed. Usually the reason has been doing something together. The recurring keywords are nature and nature conservation.

One could talk about Aleksei at length, but his skill at saying everything politely and in a roundabout way makes one envious.

Once, together with Andri, we filmed a piece on the topic of natural diversity at Aleksei’s favourite place, Tallinn Zoo, for the “forest war” (the debate on Estonian forestry).

Strength and health to Aleksei on the occasion of yesterday’s festive day.
